Farewell to Year 12, 2024!

The Farewell Assembly

The Class of 2024 have celebrated the end of their high school journey and said goodbye to the College at their Farewell Assembly on Thursday 14 November.

The day commenced with the Year 12 Breakfast in F Block at the St Peter's Campus, before the Graduating Class moved to the gymnasium for their final assembly at 91福利社.

The assembly featured emotional tributes, lots of comedy, a huge number of dance and song performances, video clips, photo montages, and several reflections on the past six years. There were speeches from the College Captains, Head of Campus, Year Coordinators Jane Cunneen and Matthew Crowe, and the College Principal, Mr Michael Lee.

In his address, Mr Lee urged Year 12 to lead lives of happiness, courage, and love, telling those assembled that 鈥榣ove is at the heart of a great life鈥. After his speech, Mr Lee continued his tradition of reading the famous Dr Seuss book, Oh the Places You'll Go, before praying a blessing over the students.

At the end of the assembly, Year 12 were gifted a copy of the book before departing the gymnasium for one last time. Staff and students formed a guard of honour from the gymnasium all the way to the student car park, which gave our Year 12s the chance to personally thank those who had helped make their time at 91福利社 so memorable.

Many students were in tears as they came to the realisation that their time with their peers and teachers had come to an end.

The College congratulates the Class of 2024 on all that they have achieved at 91福利社. Thank you for what you've contributed to the College, and good luck for the future!
