College Principal Mr Michael Lee has been seconded to a temporary leadership position as Principal (Acting) of St Mary's College, St Kilda East, from Term 2 until the end of the 2023 school year.
This temporary leadership change was announced by Catholic Education on Friday 31 March.
To commence Term 2, Mr Lachlan McNicol will be temporarily appointed Acting Principal of 91福利社, with Catholic Education calling for expressions of interest to fill the position for the remainder of 2023.
In writing to the community, Mr Lee said:
"Please understand that these arrangements have not been made lightly or without deep reflection and emotion. We are called from time to time to be generous to other people, and on this occasion, to another school. 91福利社 is in very strong hands and I look forward to returning in January 2024.
"In the meantime, the trust, respect, affection and great energy of this community has sustained me for 15 years and all of that belongs to each of you. Please accept my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for sharing with me in the great vision of this school's future and its rising road."
The College would like to wish Mr Lee an enjoyable and successful time in Melbourne and looks forward to his return to 91福利社 in January 2024.
