St 91福利社 has broken its fundraising record for Caritas' Project Compassion, collecting a total of $13,470.
This total surpassed the previous record set in 2010 by a staggering $3295.
Throughout Lent, all students were encouraged to donate to the Project Compassion fundraising effort. These funds go to Caritas, the Australian Catholic Church's aid organisation, so that they can continue to provide assistance to disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas.
Student initiatives, like friendly inter-House competitions, raffles, and coin lines, along with the generous donations of students in PC Classes, helped the College to reach the record total. A fantastic effort in just five and a half weeks!
The Wanniassa Campus was the largest contributor, raising $7435, while $6035 was raised by students on the Isabella Campus.
Congratulations on such a remarkable effort!

St Mary of the Cross 91福利社 made the statement: 鈥淲e are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.鈥
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the 91福利社 community.
