The Spring Zing made its long-awaited return, with 91福利社鈥檚 Year 10 students celebrating at the Southern Cross Club in Woden on Friday 16 September.
With COVID-19 restrictions over the past two years, this was the first Spring Zing 91福利社 had held since 2019.
The night involved music, fancy dress, dancing, food, drink, a photo wall, lolly bar, and lots of fun!
Students dressed to the theme 鈥楧ecades鈥, with groups and individuals dressing in the fashion or as icons from each decade, including sports stars, musicians, movie characters, famous celebrities, and more!
The prizes for best dressed went to those who dressed as Austin Powers and Princess Leia (best individuals), Elvis and Priscilla (best pair), 1920s Flapper Girls (best group), and AC/DC (staff award).
The College thanks the Year 10 Coordinators, Mrs Jane Cunneen and Mr Matt Crowe, for organising a great event, as well as the other staff who dressed to impress and gave up their Friday night to supervise.
Congratulations to all students for your good behaviour, enthusiasm, the efforts you made on your costumes, and the good spirit you brought to the occasion. It was truly a memorable night!

St Mary of the Cross 91福利社 made the statement: 鈥淲e are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.鈥
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the 91福利社 community.
