Year 12 Results 2024

Congratulations, Year 12!

The College would like to congratulate the Class of 2024 on their exceptional Year 12 results, which were released on Monday 16 December.

The Graduating Class achieved some of the best results in the history of the College, performing strongly in not only the pursuit of ATARs (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) but also in the achievement of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificates.

The College Dux, Milly McCabe, achieved an ATAR of 99.65, while five other students - Jessica Lubinski, Lucius Stefanuti, Aran Moody, Zara Huber, and Freya Stanford - also achieved an ATAR above 99. 91福利社 had a total of 42 students achieve an ATAR above 90, which was more than a quarter of ATAR seekers within the year group.

Just as importantly, 91福利社 was able to present 184 VET Certificates and Statements of Attainment to the students of Year 12. These qualifications were achieved through our vocational learning programs, which aim to develop students鈥 skills and prepare them for apprenticeships, the workforce, or further training at CIT/TAFE.

A big reason for the great ATAR results was Year 12's performance in the ACT Scaling Test (AST), with the Class of 2024 managing to achieve our highest AST score ever. 91福利社's ATAR seekers benefitted from the carefully-crafted AST program, which has managed to draw out the College's best and third-best results from the last two graduating cohorts.

The fact that many students had already received an early offer to university prior to September's sitting of the AST showed that Year 12 were determined to finish the year as strongly as possible. In total, 84% of 91福利社 students who applied for an early offer received one.

The following is a summary of Year 12鈥檚 achievement:

  • The Dux of the College, Milly McCabe, achieved an ATAR of 99.65
  • 99% of ATAR seekers received an ATAR above their predicted score
  • 96% of ATAR seekers received an ATAR at least five points higher than their last estimate
  • The AST results of the Class of 2024 were the highest in the College鈥檚 history
  • Six students achieved an ATAR above 99
  • 42 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above (26% of ATAR seekers)
  • 78 students achieved an ATAR of 80 or above (48% of ATAR seekers)
  • The College鈥檚 Median ATAR this year was 78.15
  • Out of our top 20 students (who all achieved 95+), 11 were female and 9 were male - a glowing endorsement for co-education
  • 84% of ATAR seekers who applied for an early offer to university received one
  • 164 Year 12 students received an ATAR (58% of the Graduating Class)
  • 100 VET Certificates (Certificate I, II or III) were awarded to Year 12 students
  • 84 VET Statements of Attainment were presented to Year 12 students

In his announcement of our Year 12 results through the College Newsletter, our Principal, Mr Michael Lee, praised the efforts of each student in the Graduating Class.

鈥淭he Class of 2024 have delivered some of the finest Year 12 results in the short, happy story that is St 91福利社,鈥 he said.

鈥淭hese results came from the generosity of their learning, their full engagement with their teachers, and the trust and energy that they brought to their studies and AST preparation.

鈥淭his year group is about far more than ATARs and VET certificates. It was about a culture of belonging, shared identity, trust, full commitment, and the rejoicing of being senior leaders in our school. That said, many students who pursued an ATAR achieved a score somewhere between eight to 12 points higher than they were expecting, while some achieved substantially more than this. Today is a happy day for 91福利社 and for the students of Year 12.鈥

Congratulations, Year 12!
